We are a Christ-centered preschool program located in Conway, Arkansas. We take pride in educating children and providing a safe and exciting place for them to grow during the school year.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Preschool-age children are creative and receptive; we strive to nurture and encourage these qualities in children in a Christ-centered environment that will prepare each child for a positive educational experience. Our goal is to provide a developmental program designed to meet the needs of children ages 18 months through 5 years. This program provides an atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth for the development of the child as a whole.

First Presbyterian Children's Education Ministries (FPCEM)

The Preschool at First Presbyterian Church–Conway is in its 30th year of operation (how exciting!). We offer the age-appropriate developmental curricula Adventures in Learning and Great God, Grateful Child, which encourage learning through a variety of experiences in a loving and Christian environment. Enrichment activities include science and nature experiences, art, music, age-appropriate field trips, and special guest speakers. The Pre-K classes attend music class once a week, and Spanish class is offered on Friday for our Pre-K 3 & 4 classes. Our main goal is to prepare your child for kindergarten by exposing them to shapes, colors, numbers, letters, and pre-reading skills, as well as by helping them to adjust socially and learn basic skills through a variety of experiences.

We do not embrace any particular view of any denomination. We are Christian based, and all of our teachers love all children. We may all attend different churches, but we come together each day with the same purpose: to teach children to LOVE everyone as God loves them.
